History syllabus :P

Syllabus, the word itself takes most of you back to your childhood! Correct me if I'm wrong:)
You are right!

How many of us still remember what we were taught regarding Indian History back in our primary school days?!! If anyone remembers, please put your comments if that was genuine??!

I still remember the days I mugged, Mohd Ghazini's 17 times ruthless act against India, how Malik Kafur destroyed beautiful Dwaarsamudra (Now known as halebid), Mahatma Gandhi's attitude lead to India's Independence, Nehru loved children, Krishnadevaraya loved Kannada a lot!

What actually our syllabus is trying to say?! Are we really learning facts?! Are we concerned about what have we learnt? Are we happy with the knowledge we have gained?!

Yes/No!

Future youth is not being supplemented with what's the fact!

I would love to hear more from you guys regarding this.

Thanks,
Rakshu

Movie magic!

I heard my roomie telling telling this to me in the weekend party which is worth sharing with you guys here:)

Two guys travelling in BMTC bus were conversing as below after look at the latest Shivanna's movie being painted on a board.

Guy 1: Hey, look at that! Shivanna's new movie is ready to be released! You know, which movie is that?
Guy 2: Yaa, yaa.. I know man.
Guy 1: You know what? The movie was shot in just 24 hours:)
Guy 2: Oh.. I heard about it!!
Guy 1: Now tell me, which movie is it.
Guy 2: Do you think, I can't read?! Its 'Thomas'. Shivanna is leading the movie in a Christian role. I am sure its gonna be a sure hit:) He is gonna tell us the importance of Christianity:)
Guy 1: Hey, I din't know that!
Guy 2: Now you got it right?
Guy 1: Thanks dude. Let us wait for the movie release:) I'm quite excited to see him on screen again:)

Beside I was laughing with my friend looking at those chaps:):)

What do you think guys?! Which movie is it?!

Yes. It was "THAMASSU" whilst two of them read it 'as 'THOMAS' :)

Thanks & Regards,

So called Karnataka!

This happened when I was working for Infosys. I was working for Australian shift where my logout time was 12:30 pm usually. While returning home I found two Kannada guys talking to each other very seriously looking at something. I just looked at them and found their eyes transfixed at some picture painted on BMTC bus. It dint take much time for me to understand what actually they were talking about.

Guy 1: "Do you know whose picture is that"?
Guy 2: "Damn! Do you think I'm so dumb as you. I know who is he"?
Guy 1: "Phew! How dare you"??! Now tell me, who is it then?
Guy 2: "Sir, Vishweshwaraih"
Guy 1: (ROFL) ha haha... damn.. stupid bug, its not him..
Guy 2: Then who?!
Guy 1 : Kuvempu, you dumb monkey..!
Guy 2: Oh... I'm wrong then?!!

Hmm.. What do you think now?!! I am sure the question banging in your head right now is, "whose picture was that"?

Finally, let me come to the point. It was none other than our "Basavanna":)

Guys, lets all think about this once. How much we depend on our own state and how attached we are and final question is how good we are when comes "what do we know about ourselves" as a question.

Thanks for spending your precious time reading this.

Rakshu
